Why has my monitor gone offline?

Figure out why your monitor has gone offline and get it back up and running. 

A monitor may go offline for several reasons, including:

  • Flat battery or power failure
  • Lack of network coverage at the monitor’s installation location

Steps to Restore Your Monitor

If your monitor is offline, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Visit the Monitor
    Go to the monitor’s physical location with:
    • Your mobile phone
    • The magnet wand supplied with your device
  2. Check for Damage
    Inspect the monitor to ensure there is no visible physical damage.
  3. Connect to the Monitor
    Use your phone to connect to the monitor and manually send a measurement.
    • This can help re-establish communication with HiLo Live
  4. Reboot the Monitor
    If the issue persists, try restarting the unit using the magnet wand.

Additional Notes

  • Sending a manual measurement can often bring the monitor back online if connectivity is available
  • If there is no network coverage at the site, the monitor may remain offline until coverage is restored
